“During the years that I played in the Mills bar in Baile Bhuirne, I sometimes took a short cut on this road which joins the main Cork/ Killarney road just outside Baile Bhuirne.
This Bar and its owners Don and Gobnait O’Leary have always accommodated traditional music and made musicians welcome on their premises. These proprietors and other like- minded people such as Peter Browne in Castleisland, in the heart of Sliabh Luachra, ensure a life line for the promotion of our music in local communities.”
